After hearing evidence from; I the stipendiary steward, the ; I riders concerned, and viewing | | a film of the incident, the! |. judicial committee found that I I Jack Flash had shifted ground outwards, causing interference I Ito Magic Day, and that Red! | Willie simultaneously had shifted I ; ground inwards. Magic Day was promoted to I third, Jack Flash was relegated ! from third to fourth, and Red! Willie relegated to fifth. Ramage and Ridley were both I charged with .careless riding by j allowing their mounts to shift ground, and were each fined $2O.
