Looking for Lydiard

Pierluigi Frigerio, a 25-year-old architectural student and an Italian marathon representative, arrived unannounced in Auckland yesterday morning from the United States, searching for his coach, Mr A. Lydiard, who was out of town on holiday. Frigerio. who two years, 'ago ran a marathon in 2; 'hours 25 minutes, has been; coached by correspondence bv Mr Lydiard for some time.i "It is now very important, that I meet him and train, under him for a month or, two personally,” he says. “During the last two j years I have overcome!
