N.Z. Trailer yachting

WELLINGTON. Heavy seas and winds gusting to 35 knots made heavy going on the first day of the fourth New Zealand Trailer-Sailer championships, being held at Evans Bay, Wellington.
The first two of the five series of championship races were sailed. Results:—
Morning races,—Hartley 16s: Enogro, G. Oborn (Christchurch) 1; Windhover IV, Scullv (Wellington). 2; Summa, P. Broadhurst (Auckland), 3. Hartley 18s: Phobe, G. Stacey (Auckland), 1; Sapphire, Conroy (Wellington), 2; Wahanui, Graham (Wellington), 3. Open: Mandarin (Nolex), R. Aitken (Chirstchurch), 1; Manaia (Nolex), P. Robbins (Christchurch), 2; Salute (Hartley 21), F. de Vries (Wellington), 3. Afternoon races.—Hartley 16s: Summa 1, Enogro 2, Maru, Mrs S. Higgins (Wellington), 3. Hartley 18s: Sapphire 1, F.
