Double Strait ski crossing

WELLINGTON, Dec. 26.
Four members of the Palmerston North Surf Club made a double crossing of Cook Strait by surf ski today. They left Wellington Harbour at 5.30 a.m. escorted by the Wellington fishing launch San Antonio. \ They arrived at. Terawhiti, i a few miles from Karori i Rock, on the return voyage I at 12.25 p.m. The trip to the Marl-1 borough Sounds took just' over 2hr and the return trip 2hr 25min..
