Aid instead of cards
Instead of giving calendars and cards to its customers this Christmas, the Christchurch Battery Company has given $250 to the Red Cross for drought relief in Africa. The service manager (Mr E. P. Millward) said that the gesture had been “pretty’ well received” by the customers.
