Motunau poll on trust control
Residents of the bcargill-Motunau district have decided at a public meeting that a poll should be held on whether any Motunau tavern should be run by a trust.
Before this poll and another to decide whether a tavern will be built, a public meeting will be held at which representatives of the Licensing Trusts Association ana Ute Hotel Association will speak The polls will be open to •n residents of the Motunau area. Before the polls are arranged, the Licensing Control Commission will have to define the licence area. The waipara County Council has, already applied for a poll to oecide whether the tavern actually be built. i .The County Clerk (Mrt , P MacManus) said that the meeting appeared to be
