Barrington Park is first split-level mall in Christchurch
The new Barrington Park Mall, which has its gala opening today, brings a new type of shopping to Christchurch. It is the first split-level shopping complex in the city’—or, for that matter, in the South Island. Situated on the corner of Barrington and Athelstan streets, next to Barrington Park, the new mall provides convenient shopping, away from the crowding of the city centre —and it has a car park that can hold 165 vehicles.
