No change in time
(N-Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The Auckland Trotting Cup ’at Alexandra Park on December 29 will be run in the daytime. Advice was received by the Auckland Trotting Club yesterday from the Trotting Conference that an application to change the meeting to night had been declined by the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr May). In a letter to the Conference, Mr May said that after consultation with the Racing Authority, he had decided not to agree to any alteration.
