The placement by P.D.L. Holdings, Ltd. of 2,250,000 50c shares at 123 c each opened yesterday, and will remain open until December 10 — as announced in the prospectus. The directors do not intend to extend the closing date/ they say. It is only the second time] this year that a new float was not fully subscribed prior to its opening; the weakness of the share market associated with the rise of the issue and its price no doubt being the main causes. On Friday the ordinary share issue by Arthur Ellis and Company, Ltd, opened and closed oversubscribed.
