“Horse of meeting”
Koarakau was unanimously voted “horse of the meeting” at Addington Raceway on Saturday. Never before has there been complete agreement among the sporting writers who make the award. There have been nine meetings on the course so far this season, and no horse has yet received the award more than once. Four of the awards have been won by three-year-olds.
