Officer* elected at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Trottint Owners’ and Breeders’ Association in Christchurch recently were: president, Mr E. G.i Mitchell /Canterbury); immediate past president, Mr N. P. Croft i /Wellington); vice-presidents. Messrs J. E. Davies /Waikato) and C. H. Bayne* /Southland): secretary, Mr L. D. B. Stowell. Remits passed included one I proposed by Mr G. D. Shand 1 South Canterbury) that maiden’ pacers be selected to race on a money won system instead of; t'nte trials, and a remit proposed Jy u - Skinner (Southland) | that an apprenticeship scheme’ be introduced on the same lines’ as in galloping. ,
