Reginald Broughton, aged 24, a factory worker, formerly of Kaikohe, was im- ; prisoned for life today for the murder of the Vicar of; Waimate North, the Rev. [ Frank Edward Coulthard. At the end of a four-min-ute hearing in the Supreme Court, at Auckland, during which Broughton admitted the charge of murder, Mr Justice Moller imposed the mandatory life sentence.
