Colour on Coast

(From Our Oivn Reporter) GREYMOUTH, Nov. 2. If it was not for N.Z.B.C. plans to switch the West Coast from Christchurch to Wellingtdn television, a Hokitika dealer says that he would begin selling colour television sets immediately. Mr G. Howard said that the reception on a colour set in his shop was exceptionally good. The switch, probably next year, will mean that the Christchurch translator, which carries the colour signal, will be eliminated. Several Greymouth dealers said however that they had had only a “reasonable” colour signal; one said the reception was not to the standard which would make it worth while owning a set at present.
