Church parades for cadets
i I Cadet units in Christchurch | will hold their annual church (parade at St Luke’s Church, Manchester Street, on Sundav afternoon. those taking part will be cadets from the Sea Cadet units —Steadfast and Cornwell —the Girls’ Nautical Training Corps, the Sea Ranger Unit, and Nos. 17 and 18 Squadrons of the Air Training Corps. ! The Mayor of Christchurch ((Mr N. G. Pickering) will inspect the parade and address the cadets. The service will be conducted by the Cadet Forces padre (the Rev. L. Allison). The commanding officer of T.S. Steadfast (Lieutenant- | Commander W. G, Costello) j will read the lesson.
