England XV to play Fiji

England’s touring Rugby officials have named a strong side to play Fiji at Buckhurst Park tomorrow-, in a warm-up match for England’s short tour of New Zealand.
Of the team named, 13 were in England’s team at the end of last season.
The coach, Mr J. Elders, said the Englishmen were not underestimating the Fijians, who had shown on their tour of Britain in 1970 that they were very dangerous when at their best.
The team is: A. Jorden, P. Squires, P. Preece, G. Evans, D. Duckham, A. Old, S. Smith. C. Stevens. J. Pullin (captain), F. Cotton, P. Hendy, C. Ralston, R. Uttley, A. Neary, A. Ripley.
