The first woman to be adjmitted as a nominee member of the London Commodity Exchange has exercised her right to walk on the floor of the exchange for the first time. Attractive Mrs Susan Wright of the international money brokers, P. MurrayJones, walked through the commodity markets amid some admiring glances. Sugar was trading actively but Mrs Wright was voted “the sweetest thing on the floor,” according to one source. The London Commodity ( Exchange was one of the last ‘ London financial institutions to allow women members. Last year Mrs Wright also! became first woman to attend ‘ the annual dinner of the London Metal Exchange.
