North Canterbury lost both senior netball matches when it met Ellesmere and Lincoln in a representative tournament at the North Canterbury courts at Dudley Park, Rangiora. on Saturday. Teams from Malvern also played in the tournament but Malvern did not field a senior team. Senior matches resulted; Ellesmere 17, North Canterbury 16. Lincoln 20. North Canterbury 18. Lower grades B grade.—North Canterbury 24, Ellesmere 23; North Canterbury 24, Lincoln 21; North Canterbury B 19, Malvern A 14. C grade.—North Canterbury 35, Ellesmere 16; North Canterbury 26. Lincoln 8. D grade.—North Canterbury 41, Ellesmere 16; North Canterbury 37, Lincoln 8; North Canterbury 47. Malvern B 10. Primary A.—North Canterbury 27, Ellesmere 5; North Canterbury 40, Lincoln 5. Primary B.—North Canterbury 29. Ellesmere 13; North Canterbury 29, Lincoln 13; North Canterbury 34. Malvern 5.
