CAROPHEN KILLED
(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND. The good winner. Carophen. [which was an acceptor for the Port Auckland Handicap on Saturday, was a late scratching. The six-year-old mare suffered fatal injuries when the float that was bringing her to the course was involved in an accident on the Southern Motorway.
