Espionage accusation
(N.Z.P.A.-Keuter) PARIS, July 29 The French counterespionage service believes that the New Zealand warship Otago carried out an espionage mission at the French nuclear test site of Mururoa, the French news magazine, “Le Point,” said today. Without citing , e.ny sources, “Le Point” said: “Behind the symbolic and pacifist mission that the Otago carried out in the dangerous zone around Mururoa, an espionage operation was hidden: there were many ‘specialists among the crew’ of the Otago.”
