Child finds drugs
(N Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 16. A pupil from Te Atatu Intermediate Schoo], Christine Beck, aged 12, yesterday found five ampoules of the dangerous opium-based narcotic, pamergan. washed up on Matakatia Bay, on the Auckland side of Whangaparaoa Peninsula. The Auckland police drug squad believe the narcotic was stolen from a chemist shop and then dumped. The girl visited the bay] yesterday with her family,' who handed the drugs to the! police at Henderson.
