Work about Cathedral

The grass around Christchurch Cathedral which has suffered from the effects of reconstruction work in the Square during the last 13 months, has now been graded into a dirt surface. However, it will be sown in grass again as soon as improvements have been made to the grounds. These involve laying a new rainwater pipe and electrical cable, concrete blocks and imitation tiles for the Cathedral paths, and a new surface in front of the building. There will be a greater area in lawn than before.
