(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE, July 12. An Australian Labour backbencher, Dr Richard Klugman, has strongly criticised those advocating a zero population growth for Australia. Dr Klugman submitted at i a national population inquiry (that there was no absolute [optimum for Australia’s fut|ure population. “While we must support [zero population growth, or (even a downward trend, for [the global population, this does not necessarily mean the same for Australia,” he said.
