Buildings at Ferrymead

The Ferrymead Trust will be asked by the Heathcote County Council to give it details of all the buildings on the trust’s site, including information as to which of them have been granted building permits. The town-planning committee reported to a meeting of the council last evening that it also wanted information on buildings that had been taken to Ferrymead. Those buildings that had been moved to the site should be inspected for possible borer infestation, the committee said. This was especially the case with the old Coutts Island School, taken' to Ferrymead earlier this; month.
