Tribute to chairman
After many years of ser-i vice to the Nurse Maude District Nursing Association, ! Mr L. D. Cotterill will retire > from the board this year. Late last year he resigned . as chairman, a position he had held almost continuously from 1947, as acting chair- , man, and then chairman from his election in 1956. Tribute is paid to his con-i' tribution to the association! in the annual report. All the j major developments of thep association’s work had taken! place during Mr Cotterill’s | membership of the board, ' says the report. While he would insist that 'much of the credit for inno- ' vations should be given to! others, all who had worked!, under his direction recog-! nised the value of his wide experience and judgment. i, Tribute is also paid to the ' late Miss Cicely Pratt, who! had been a valued member', of the association for many, years.
