National winner in at Trentham
The 1972 Grand National winner, the Gore-trained Enceeoh, has been entered for the Wellington Steeplechase next month.
The Wellington Steeples will be the feature race on the first day of the Wellington winter meeting on July 7. Other South Island-trained entrants for the $lO,OOO steeples, which will be run this year over Trentham’s new figure-eight course, are the Riccarton-trained Sony and the Wingatui-trained Opstan.
