Peninsula TV to improve

Parts of Banks Peninsula now experiencing indifferent television reception can expect an improved picture by the time colour television is introduced, according to Mr T. M. McGuigan, member of Parliament for Lyttelton. With Christchurch, Banks Peninsula would be one of the first areas to receive colour transmission, Mr McGuigan said. The Director-General of the N.Z.B.C. (Mr L. R. Sceats) had assured him that pockets of indifferent reception would be improved before then, he said.
