New Royal bodyguard
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) LONDON, June 14. The Queen is to have a new personal bodyguard on the retirement of the man who has been a Royal “shadow” for more than 30 years. Buckingham Palace has announced that Superintendent M. Trestrail, at present chief guard to Prince Philip, will be the Queen’s new personal police guard. Commander A. Perkins, who has travelled the world with the Queen, shielding her iin public places, and carrying her umbrella whenever ’the elements threatened, has I retired.
