Falls widespread on dull Australian markets
There was a wide-i ' spread decline in prices , in listless trading ion Australian stock exchanges yesterday. ’ Over-all, falls out- ' numbered rises by about I two to one in the in- > dustrial sector and 1 among the mining and oil shares. Poseidon fell 20c to 990 c. IMetals Ex, and West. Min.! 1 leased slightly, but Great! ■ Boulder was steady. B. H. South fell 20c to 285 c, and Mount Isa Mines eased \sc to 280 c. j Uranium issues were, mixed, but Emperor Gold Mines and Wattle Gully were , steady. Woodside Burmah eased 4c to 250 c. f; In Melbourne, B.H.P. fell i| 20c to 870 c, Sydney was 4c.
