I Situations Vacant ENEX COMPANY SECRETARY THE ORGANISATION: ENEX of New Zealand Inc is rapidly expanding. Established four years ago to promote the sale overseas of New Zealand goods, services, skills, know-how and expertise, it now has more than 23 major projects underway in a variety of countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia. Laos, Western Samoa and Fiji. In addition, 116 other potential projects are under consideration on behalf of the organisation's 150-plus member firms, among which are many of the top consultancies and corporations in New Zealand. THE JOB: This expansion has given rise to the need for a top 'flight Company Secretary who will report direct to the Chief Executive. QUALIFICATIONS: We are on the lookout for a young man. a qualified accountant who is seeking the challenge that this most interesting position offers. THE REQUIREMENTS: He will be responsible to the Chief Executive for the financial management of ENEX and its associated companies both here and overseas. He will prepare budgets, management accounts and final accounts for ENEX and associated companies. In addition he will arrange Board agendas, attend meetings of the Board and its committees and prepare the minutes. He will be exoected in due course to reoresent ENEX at functions and conferences and may be called upon to speak on ENEX and its role in the export field. THE SALARY: $7OOO per annum.
