Kawasaki square four The Japanese Kawasaki factory is at nresent putting the finishing touches to a new 750 c.c. square four two-stroke roadster and expects to place it on the market before the middle of 1974. The engine will be water-cooled. An experimental version, featuring fuel injection and reputed to produce 80 brake horsepower, has been at Kawasaki’s American headquarters in California for evaluation purposes and has now been returned to Janan. It is understood that the new machine can outperform the Kawasaki’s factory’s 750 c.c. threecylinder two-stroke, the H2, and the 904 c.c. Z 1 four-stroke transverse four. The machine will be fitted with double disc brakes at the front and a single disc at the rear.
