Fewer sheep
The number of sheep in Queensland this year has fallen to the lowest figure for 67 years: 13.5 million. In 1906, there were about 12.5 million sheen, and the figure has been dropping steadily since 1969, when there were 23.3 million.—Brisbane, June 13.
