New Qantas head
Sir Donald Anderson, the Australian Director-General of Ciyil Aviation, has been appointed chairman of Qantas by the Federal Government to succeed the retir;ing chairman, Sir Roland (Wilson, who is 69 and will l9 years on the (Qantas board at the beginining of July. The new appointment is for five years initially. Captain R. J. Ritchie, the Qantas general manager, was re-appointed a Qantas director for another three years.—Melbourne.
