(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The nine-day old paintshop dispute which crippled production at the Ford Motor Company’s assembly plant at Lower Hutt ended on Wednesday night. Normal work resumed on Thursday morning. ; This followed the interven'tion of an independent arbiI trator. Mr C. H. Benney, who met the parties on Wednesday (afternoon. It was understood that Mr Benney’s finding was accepti able both to the management ■and to the Coachworkers' ! Union. The dispute arose out of alleged "racial” remarks by a paint-shop foreman on May 121. J
