; Four out of five teams in the South Island are now showing profits — some of them substantial ones.
I The last round of decisions; produced in the South Island; [l6 pre-tax profits of more! 'than $1 million, and six of 1 [more than $2 million. i The lead in more than half [the closely fought games has either changed with the last [decision or looks as if it may (change in the next — which will decide the first round [winners in the 1973 game. [ ! Wellington is the city show-[ ling the highest proportion of [big profits in New Zealand. | The area in the biggest i money is the Auckland provlince. The winners at the end of | the round will go on to al second round of eight deci- [
sions, the winners of which! will participate in zone finals,'
lone of them in Christchurch.' [The New Zealand final will' be held in September. “The Press” is supporting! ,and participating in the game [which is conducted jointly by the New Zealand Society [of Accountants, International Computers (New Zealand) Ltd [and the “New Zealand Herald” Business News.
