Publicity for N.Z. artists
A leading art magazine, “Art International,” has given New Zealand artists 10 pages in its latest issue.
An article by an Australian professor, entitled “Young Contemporary New Zealand (Realists,” describes the works of Michael Smither, Colin McCahon. W. A. Sutton, Don Binney, Robin White, and Brent Wong. At least one of the artists has already had an inquiry from an overseas art museum interested in buying a work for its collection.
The magazine is published in Zurich.
