The defeat of the Canterbury c champion, E. Simons (Post ( Office), by B. Edlin (Shirley) was s a surprise in the fourth round of the Canterbury A grade billiards competition. I Edlin led for most of the c game, and with only a point 1 separating the scores clinched c victory’ with an unfinished break 1 i of 17. r i R.S.A. scored the only three- 2 | point win of the round, and it 1 I has now joined Sprevdon 1 and I i Shirley at the top of the ladder.
