Motor-cyclist killed

A young man died in Christchurch Hospital last evening after his motor-cycle and a car collided on the Sumner causeway about 7 p.m. The man, aged about 18, was riding a 50c.c. 1967 motor-cycle and suffered head and leg injuries in the collision. He was taken by ambulance to hospital, where he died about 9 p.m. His name was not available 'last evening.
