PONY CLUB RALLY
(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH.
Hawke’s Bay has two representatives in the Junior Pony Chib team which will travel to Japan for an inter-Paclfic rally in August. The team was selected in Palmerston North on Saturday after national trials.
The full team is: J. Wedd (Hawke’s Bay), M. Nesbitt (Hawke’s Bay), C. Trotter (Palmerston North), M. Sykes (Bay of Plenty), and P. Fathers (Franklin-Thames Valley). The team manager is Mr C. E. W. Levin, of Palmerston North. Australia. Canada, the United States, Japan, Britain, and New Zealand will be represented at the rally which will be held in Toyko and one other venue to be named.
The team leaves on July 28, and returns on August 24.
