Princess Anne has been included on a short list of 10. nders from which Britain’s! team at the European three-; day championship in the, Soviet Union in September: will be selected. The 10 on the list were all women. Lieutenant Mark! Phillips and Richard Meade, friends of the Princess who: were both on Britain’s; Olympic team last year, were both left off because of doubts about the condition of their horses, but they may be included later. The final team of four, plus > two individuals, is expected: to be named in mid-August. l Prince Philip has already; accepted an invitation to attend the championships in! Kiev, and will be the first! member of a British Royal: Family to visit Communist! Russia.
