Police offer $2000

CV.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON

A reward of S2OOO has been : offered by police for information which would lead to the conviction of the person or persons responsible for the destruction of the Massey Park grandstand at Papakura, the Commissioner of Police (Mr W. H. A. Sharp) announced. He said the reward would be paid to “persons who themselves are not principals to the crime which took place on the evening of April 8.” Mr Sharp said he would decide how the reward would be apportioned, in the event of there being more than one claimant.
