I.C.F.T.U. finance and general: (purnoses committee. ; He criticised the Fiji legis-i [lation as severely restricting (the rights of trade unions ini .collective bargaining. The Secretarv-General of; the 1.C.F.T.U., Mr Otto Kers-: ten. of West Germany, sent: a cable to the Fijian Government protesting against the legislation two weeks ago. "It makes strikes illegal in many cases and goes against the International Labour Organisation Convention,” he said.
