Name change only Battery Makers of New Zealand, Ltd, the Lower Huttbased manufacturers of Exide, Vesta, Rokfire and Chloride lead acid batteries, has changed its name from April 1 to Chloride Batteries i New Zealand. Ltd. No change : in management or company * structure is involved. Offer accepted The directors of De Pelichet McLeod, and Company. Ltd, have unanimously accepted the offer by Newiton King. Ltd. The terms of the offer have not yet been released beyond the explanation given by Newton King that the offer was on a share basis with an alternative offer of cash. Purchase completed Dalgety N.Z. Ltd, advises that it has acquired the remaining ordinary and preference shares held by the minority shareholders in Tasman Vaccine Laboratory, Ltd, the consideration being the ] issue of 527,998 fully paid ordinary 100 c shares in Dalgety New Zealand. Re-organisation Marrickville Holdings, Ltd, which owns Eta Foods and is a major Australian manufacturer of margarine has suffered a setback in profit in the six months to December 31, 1972. Net profit fell by 25 per cent. During the same period total sales turnover slipped marginally. A steady interim dividend of .61 per cent has been declared.
