FARM SOLD AT AUCTION
A fattening and grazing property of 670 acres at Killinchy, seven miles from: Leeston, was sold at auction! yesterday for $108.50 an acre: —a total of $72,695. Bidding; started at $9O an acre. The property was split off a larger farm and no Govern-i ment valuation is available. At present 210 acres are in lucerne and the winter stock- ! carrying capacity is 15Q0 ewes and 50 head of cattle. There are no buildings on the property. The auctioneer was Mr F. McD. Templeton, of Pyne, Gould. Guinness Ltd.
