Mr Douglas, the Minis- \ ter of Broadcasting, bowls ' for the Politicians in the annual match against the Diplomats at Karori Park, Wellington, yesterday. I The umnire is Mr lan Nimmo, who usually keeps : the scoreboard for the Karori Park Cricket Club. Mr Douglas, who 10 days , ago suffered a gashed chin while playing in a charity I match for the N.Z.B.C. in Christchurch, made 30 runs, but the Politicians i lost 206 runs to 104. Mr Douglas’s nine-year- I old son. Grant, was called on to play at number 11 for the Politicians and made four not out.
