PLEASE NOTE —The Hydatids Amendment, 1972, has made a number of important changes to the Act, three important changes are set out below for the benefit of dog owners. 1. A mandatory additional charge of §lO is payable for each dog in cases where the dog is dosed and the purged material from that dog is found to contain “Hydatids” as defined in the Act. This provision came into force on November 1. 1972. 2. All dogs must be registered on attaining the age of three months and Hydatids Fees are payable at the time of registration. 3. It is an offence to feed anv dog anv untreated sheep or goat meat. 3023
