This former psychiatric nurse, Mrs Brenda Fernay, of London, gave up her profession and her Christian faith to become a full-time teacher of Buddhism. At her ordination six years ago Mrs Fernay adopted her Buddhist name, Gotami, During her visit to Christchurch she will give public lectures and hold two retreats. (Interview on page 6.)
