Record to gliders

(N.Z. Press Association > NELSON. For the second time in five days the New Zealand twoseater gliding record for out ;and back distance was broken by members of the Nelson Gliding Club. The club president, I. i Evans, and N. Jones, who is manager of the New Zealand team to compete in the world championships, flew 328.65 kilometres in six hours and a quarter at the week-end. The trip took them from ; Nelson to the junction of Robinson Creek and the Grey River, south of Springs JuncItion.
