Clifton Hill residents will be helped by the Christchurch City Council, the Christchurch Fire Board and the Ministry of Works in efforts to lessen the fire danger, secure loose boulders on the hillside and improve fire-fighting facilities. A meeting yesterday was attended by the Mayor of

We’re also going to | see what can be done about keeping grass short in the area to keep the undergrowth i down.” Rubbish trucks were available on the hill over the weekend and will go back I today to collect debris and I foliage put out by residents.
