Butter sale to Japan
f.N'.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 9. i The Dairy Board 1140 tons of butter to Japan for shipment next month. This is the sixth sale to Japan in the last 12 months,; amounting to more than 6400 tons, valued about s6m. The sale was won against] world-wide competition, the board said. Sales of butter to Japan are made by tender and arranged by a quasi-Govern-ment import agency.
