DROWNING IN RIVER
(N.Z. Press Association) ROTORUA, Jan. 18. A young English immigrant drowned in the Waioeka River, three miles from 'Opotiki, on Monday afternoon. He was David John Boundy, aged 22. a farmhand, of Waioeka. Mr Boundy, who came to | New Zealand from Devon, ;was swimming with a friend iwhen he got into difficulties land disappeared. His body I was recovered on Tuesday.
